9.25.07: The Fillmore: San Fran
Sacramento Airport
Chilling at the Golden Gate
Some inspirational history in the dressing room at the Fillmore
Today, 9.26.07, we just played the best show of the tour.
This show to remember took place at New Horizons' cafeteria.
¡Con mucho amor, desde Cuba!

Is that picture of the suitcases real?! How is that even possible?
"Sacramento Airport" -no way! Is that for real? Thats got to be a piece of art. No baggage man is tall enough to stack that! ;) Its a prop for your next music video right? lol! Love the pics!

amazing.
love the shirt, of course :)
Ahhhhh... you are making me homesick. :) I'm originally from Sacramento. I was just in San Fran. at the end of August. I recognize the luggage in the Sac airport. LOL
The Fillmore in SF has been around a good long while. I remember as a teen trying to figure out a way to go see Eric Burden and the Animals there once. It never worked out. I still haven't been, but pretty much everyone that was anyone was there when I was in H.S. I was kind of excited to see you were playing there. :)
What is the New Horizons' Cafeteria? Looks interesting.
I like the welcome sign. :)
Are those suitcases an art display?

I found New Horizons online. Very cool. :)
At first I thought: Mute Math at an old people's home?
That's awesome that you guys put on a show for them. My mother works with kids with disabilities and they can be a handful but their generosity and innocence is beautiful. I loved the pic of the sign they made for you guys.
I bet there were a lot of autistic stream-of-conscience type people there that gave you an earful, which can be unintentionally hilarious at times. Did they enjoy the music?
Wow... how wonderful :)
So very cool. I used to work with people with developmental disabilities and they are so awesome. I think it's so great you guys would do that. I'm sorry I missed you guys when you came to Sacramento - it''s quite a drive, next time though.
yay! My friend went to your show! I hear it was awesome. :)
To answer the question, because I've seen it, the suitcases are real. And I don't know if it's supposed to be art, but I'm guessing it's a permanent display since I saw it in June. I don't think it was stacked by a baggage man. Do they actually stack things? I thought they just threw them. LOL
looking at the pic "Chilling at the Golden Gate"... I think you are on the exact spot that was used in "The Search for Animal Chin". I read somewhere that you used to skate. Is that true?
