Day Trotter Session

The day of the San Fran show was a long, long day. First of all, I started to come down with something the night before I flew into San Francisco, CA from Miami (6 hour flight); my flight departed at 8:35AM (which means I LEFT my house at 6:15AM EST-3:15AM PST); I landed in San Fran around noon (12PM PST); took a cab to the Day Trotter session at a small studio off of Market Street called Paradiso; did the session in a few hours-not having eaten because airlines are so cheap now and there was no food at the sesh; headed back to the venue to eat something finally around 4PM, then did soundcheck; did an interview; gathered myself for about an hour; met the developers of Apple's Logic 9, which was cool and interesting; played our 2 hour 15 minutes show; as I was performing, I felt my body breaking down further into sickness; so, I excused myself from the after-show meet & greet (the only one I've missed so far); and took some meds and went straight to bed nearly by 2AM (PST)... Even though we were all exhausted that day, I'm glad we pulled through it. And, I'm happy to get to do what I love in playing music. This is not a complaint, just an example of what some days on tour are like. Plus, I'm happy that this Day Trotter session came out nice. It's a cool thing to be involved in. Thanks for listening. Stay healthy. Stay happy.

Vintage cab used on MM debut (two 15" Jensen speakers).
