Music Sales Cut In Half for Last Decade.

It's no doubt that this last decade has seen some major changes in the music 
industry, for better and for worse. After watching some of the Grammy's 
the other night, which I must say was a bit disheartening, it just makes me 
think more about the future and where it is all going. 


As reported by CNNMoney.com: "Total revenue from U.S. music sales and 
licensing plunged to $6.3 billion in 2009, according to Forrester Research. 
In 1999, that revenue figure topped $14.6 billion . . .


. . . But industry insiders and experts argue that the main culprit for the 
industry's massive decline was the growing popularity of digital music."
