2010 Spring Tour

"Tour season" is starting up again for Mute Math, and I welcome it, hoping for wonderful, memorable experiences for all peoples in attendance. Recently while in Los Angeles, I found myself walking over the this star:

In accordance with such unplanned occurrences, I'd like to dedicate these next six weeks of touring to one of my personal musical heroes and influences: Jimi Hendrix. May his music and spirit live on . . .

Also, be on the lookout at mutemath.com for tour blogs from everyone in the band. I will still be posting more personal things here regarding MM, life, and of course, bass. So, here we go:

I hope you guys have a great spring tour - my hubby and I keep debating whether we wanna try to see you guys then or not - to be honest, we can't imagine MM opening for anyone and we would be disappointed with a shorter set!!! We just saw you guys in Florence, it was our 4th time and we drove almost 8hours to see you! We got great "seats" right in front of Darren....incredible as always, keep it up!!!

I'm really looking forward to it. I will see you at The Rail on May 8. I already have my ticket.
I was pretty jazzed to see that you are coming on a Saturday as I don't have to stress over getting off work to come. :)

Jimi Hendrix was indeed a talented man.

Hope you and yours are all doing well. :)

Roy, really enjoyed the concert at UNA. I've become a huge fan of you guys over the last few years. Fantastic live performers. Loved the way you guys nail the album songs live and then jam a bit to give it a bit extra. Also your sound is just so different and refreshing. Have a safe and fun 2010 Spring Tour. BTW if you are reading this and haven't seen MuteMath live....you are really missing out. Can't wait to see them again.

Vintage cab used on MM debut (two 15" Jensen speakers).
