Continuation of bass lessons and an update on Mute Math in the studio:
Now that our headlining tour is over, I'll be able to focus some more energy on continuing my bass lesson videos. I re-posted some older videos to get us back in the swing of things, and I will be posting new videos very soon.
In regard to Mute Math, we are currently in the studio working on new material for the next album. I'm excited about the new stuff; it's a little too earlier to give an exact explanation of the direction, but I will keep you updated. Moreover, I will post some videos of our sessions (given that it doesn't give too much away).
Thanks.

Good to see you back. I'm very excited to hear about new music, and also looking forward to seeing you on tour in March.
Can't wait for your new stuff! I hope the studio time is a good "break". Have a wonderful holiday season.
Anybody that uses the word 'moreover' is OK in my book! Moreover, I can't wait to check out some informal studio vids.
Stay well, amigo!
Are you guys busting out any new new songs for the Matchbox Twenty tour? :)
I would go but the Atlantic City date is posted on ticketmaster as a date you guys won't be playing. No love for us Jerseyites, huh? :)
Heheh.... New direction? {gulp} That makes me nervous.
Although, you've been doing pretty well on the directioning up to now, so I guess I can put down the valium smoothie. ;) More cool stuff is a good thing.
Have fun, Guys.
Btw, I checked weather.com for the Boston forecast, and it's lookin' to be a might chilly for the 4th. (Poss. snow the day before) Wear layers.
*<:)
Sorry to miss this one. /:(
OH! Do tell us about the studio. Tell us about the process! What type of gear are you recording on? Are you doing pre production on your own... like with a Roland VS? Are you going to use a big studio or D.I.Y. the whole thing! Question: What does a band do for their 2nd full length release... when they did everything that can be done (by mortals) with their first full length? ;)

Awesome! New Mute Math! I cannot wait. However, i'm very disappointed I missed your headlining tour here in Toronto.
You guys will be coming back in February, but I really wish you guys could put together a small concert here on the side, I want to see you guys so badly, and to experience everything I have seen of your live shows, the great songs, awesome stage presence, and that amazing drum jam after "Break the Same"!!!
Please come back to Toronto to put on another great show in a smaller venue for the fans that love you so much!
Thank you.
Heya! I'm glad to hear you all are getting a bit of a break to actually work on some new stuff! I'm looking forward to hearing you again here in Colorado.
Although, I do have to say I have very much missed chatting with you after the shows, but I would imagine your touring schedule keeps you pretty tired once you've been on stage for an hour or so :)
thank you so much for all the bass lesson videos, they are very helpful.
Dude!
I just stumbled onto this blog by accident today. Hopefully you're still keeping up with it.
I wanted to thank you for hooking me up w/ a ticket to your show in Detroit recently. You laid down some bass lines for my friend Blakes band, Renovaudio, you included a ticket for me. That was my 4th show this year!!
Thanks again! Can't wait for the next album!!
hey man... this has nothing to do with this particular post... but, ive been trying to figure out what kind of effect paul uses on his rhodes for the lead parts in "you are mine" and the only thing I can come up with is a ring modulator... is this correct? and if so, which one does he use?....
sorry to ask such a silly question, but its driving me crazy.
Dude, what happened? I was looking forward to getting glimpses of the study, dangit.
