Thru You

In 1998, I bought my first sampler: an MPC 2000. I still have it and use frequently. It has a particular sound and vibe that I love, and it's a workhorse. Recently, DK brought to my attention a guy from Israel that cuts and pastes youtube videos just like someone would do with audio on an MPC. He's done an amazing job editing these together. Check it out!

Brilliant! Thanks for putting those up, Roy.

I can't imagine the amount of patience needed to make those samples rock.

I bet you can! Kudos on the ep. Ready for the full length.

Those were good.

Have you ever done a blog thing on how to play the bass part for Obsolete? I absolutely love that bass part, and wish I could play the upright bass, I'm pretty sure that's what you used for the first MM record, if not that was good bass-guitaring. I wish I could play bass.

Oh man, that Thru You stuff is like DJ Shadow on funky crack.

Vintage Cab I used on MM debut (this is my dad's); it has two 15" Jensen speakers.
