Roadside Prophets: Kafecito Sessions

Hello: just wanted to let you know that Roadside Prophets (my old band from high school) has made some songs available online - check out the youlicense.com player below. These are super raw, 4-track, Americana recordings with spirit and soul. I played nylon and steel-string acoustic guitars and sang lead and back-ground vocals in this band (back in '95!), and co-wrote all the material with Corey Snyder, the primary singer and rhythm guitarist. David Ramirez played drums and sang, and Tony Zepeda played bass. We would frequently play one of the original coffee houses in McAllen called Kafecitos.
Viva el RGV forever!

my favourite song is I LOVE YUPPIES. The intro grabbed me right away. Sad thing is I love VOLVOS and $4 coffees.

So... are these recordings from back when you were in the band? Does the band still exist?

"I Like It" is my fav. Reminds me of some familiar distant memory, like when you smell something from a long time ago and it stirs you up. So weird...
