Hello, everyone! Life has been moving very fast lately, and I've been trying to catch up. From the imminent birth of my son to a relocation endeavor (and not to mention writing a new album), I've been too busy to post any bass lessons or post anything for that matter. Thanks for your patience as I get other things situated. In the meantime, I hope you have enjoyed some of the vlogs that Mute Math has posted on our myspace page and on youtube. I love the drum feedback post. Such a tease for what's to come. Personally, I kind of wish we could hear a slow/normal recording speed for hyperbass...
have you guys moved back to new orleans, or just there for the writing of the next album?
I commented on facebook, but I just watched the hyperbass video for the first time. I got a kick out of it. LOL Are the acoustics best in the bathroom? ;)
I was just thinking about how unreasonably excited I am about this new record (Or is it reasonable?), and I think you guys should consider giving away a track for free a-la Coldplay. Like a first single. Yeah, you're not Coldplay, but I think without a doubt, MM's strength are the fans and word of mouth. Give away a track well before the release date, don't put any DRM on it, and watch it grow!
