10.26.06-Zydeco: Birmingham, AL

Finally, the day came for Club of the Sons to join us for some gigs. It was like seeing family after a long period of separation, a family that blows your mind with its musicality and creativity at that.

Their show was everything and more of what I anticipated. I can't wait for Club of the Sons to record an album and start touring. They are one of a kind, and a must-see live.

Okay. . . this where I am truly jealous that I missed out on seeing C of the S's.

Yes, I too, cannot wait to hear the full CD!!!

I hope some body out there "you tubes" or "goo-tubes" their sets!

Yes! Club of the Sons was definitely a highlight of the night.

I was wondering if they would have any merch (cd... *coughcough*) and was excited to hear Adam mention it onstage.
The one downside was, I had to stand on tiptoe and crane my neck a bit to see Hutch because a tall guy was in front of me.

My cousin found the koala mask guy very amusing; she's still talking about it, in fact. I don't blame her... how many people can say that a koala has showered them in glitter? Heh.

I'd love to see COTS live. I've been using the acronym "CLOTS" for awhile, but some people don't like it. What's up with that?!

Roy, YOU'VE MADE MY DAY, as I've just discovered your MySpace and this blog. Next to Abraham Laboriel you're my favorite bassist. I only name him because he's older, but when he dies it's a safe bet that you'll have the #1 spot!

Vintage cab used on MM debut (two 15" Jensen speakers).
