Japan has anchored down its golden hooks of intrigue, love, and respect deep in my heart. It's one of the most fun and interesting times I've had on the road (and I was only there 5 days!). I can't wait to go back in November, and play our own proper show. There's plenty to write about this beautiful country and about the special release day of our second full-length album Armistice, but for now I'd just like to share some pictures.
Above pics: one, interesting marine life at the Osaka aquarium; two, me getting gitty with Sonic Youth (Thurston Moore is so cool. Hands down, SY was the best show I saw at Summer Sonic, and then next to them, Flaming Lips, Grizzly Bear, and Beyonce); and three, me and DK having fun with a new set at NOLA H.O.B. release show a couple of days ago.
